President Volodymyr Zelensky said that Russia is always involved in conflicts that arise in different parts of the world. He said this during a conversation with journalists in Argentina. According to him, the security issue is very important for Latin American countries because of Russia's actions around the world.
He noted that "everyone must be on the same side" to ensure peace and security.
Zelensky said he came to Argentina at the invitation of the country's new president, Javier Milei, and that the latter's position on Russia's war against Ukraine contributed to this.
"His position is very clear in condemning Russian aggression and supporting Ukraine. It is not ambiguous, without any extra content. It's just a very specific position. So, of course, I wanted to thank him on our behalf and talk about the peace formula and other points," the head of state said.
