Kamyshyn explains Zelensky's words about a million UAVs a year: it's about FPV drones

Minister for Strategic Industries Oleksandr Kamyshyn has announced plans for the production of drones in 2024. He wrote about this on Telegram.

He clarified the words of President Volodymyr Zelensky about the production of one million drones a year. According to Kamyshyn, Ukraine will produce a million drones next year, but only FPV drones are meant.

The minister said that already in December, Ukraine produces more than 50,000 FPV drones per month.

In addition to FPV, in 2024, it is planned to produce more than 10,000 medium-range strike drones (hundreds of km), as well as more than 1,000 drones with a flight range of over 1,000 km.

"All production capabilities are ready, contracting for 2024 begins," the minister emphasized.
