Netanyahu: Three conditions for ending the conflict in the Gaza Strip

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has named the conditions that must be met to end the war against Palestinian militants Hamas in the Gaza Strip. This was reported by the Wall Street Journal.

The Israeli leader noted that many countries, including the United States, Great Britain, France, Germany and others, support Israel's intention to destroy the terrorist group.

To achieve this goal, Netanyahu identified three main conditions:

  • Destruction of Hamas.
  • Demilitarization of Gaza.
  • Deradicalization of Palestinian society.

The Prime Minister emphasized that in order to end the war, Israel needs to ensure three key points: the destruction of Hamas, the demilitarization of Gaza, and the beginning of the process of deradicalization of Palestinian society. He also noted that in order to prevent Gaza from being used as a base for attacks on Israel, it is necessary to create a temporary security zone along the perimeter of the Strip and to introduce an inspection mechanism on the border with Egypt.

"After Hamas is destroyed, Gaza is demilitarized, and Palestinian society begins the process of deradicalization, Gaza can be rebuilt, and the prospects for broader peace in the Middle East will become a reality," the Israeli prime minister said.
