The Ministry of Defense and law enforcement officers conduct unscheduled inspections of TCCs and warehouses with products in military units. Many violations are recorded in the regions. Defense Minister Rustem Umerov wrote about this on Facebook.
"We conduct unscheduled inspections of the TCCs in the regions. We record many violations. The Defense Ministry team is working to systematically correct all the shortcomings," he wrote.
Umerov said that the inspections revealed a shortage of food worth more than UAH 50 million.
"We record violations, we deal with each case separately. As a result of the previous visit last week, the Ministry of Defense changed the supplier for some military units," the minister said.
