Trump plans to force Ukraine into peace talks with Russia if he wins the US presidential election. Bloomberg writes about this, citing sources in the former president's team.

According to them, Trump's advisers discussed how to organize talks between Volodymyr Zelensky and Vladimir Putin at the beginning of the 45th White House's potential second term.

To force Ukraine to return to negotiations, Trump could promise to cut military support, while Putin in turn could be threatened with increased aid to Kyiv.

Trump's advisers Larry Kudlow and Robert O'Brien have also publicly advocated for tougher sanctions against the Russian Central Bank to influence Putin.
