Brimstone missiles and more: Britain announced a new aid package for Ukraine

On February 22, Britain announced a new package of military aid to Ukraine. In particular, the Ukrainian Armed Forces will receive anti-tank weapons. This was stated by UK Defense Secretary Grant Shapps in The Guardian.

"Today I can announce a new batch of 200 Brimstone anti-tank missiles as a further strengthening of Ukraine's defense," the statement reads.

According to the minister, these missiles have already proven effective on the battlefield, forcing Russian troops to retreat during an attempt to cross the river.

In addition, the United Kingdom will provide additional training programs for the Ukrainian military together with other allies. It is noted that training for another 10,000 people is planned during the first half of 2024.
