Rada supported the draft law on demobilization of conscripts

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has supported draft law No. 11035 on the demobilization of conscripts as a basis and in general. This was announced by MP Oleksiy Honcharenko.

It is noted that 317 MPs supported the draft law as a basis, and 319 MPs supported it in general.

In its final form, the draft law includes a provision on the period during which conscripts cannot be called up. Servicemen cannot be called up for military service during mobilization within 12 months from the date of their discharge from the reserve.

"We supported the President's initiative to immediately discharge conscripts. Congratulations. It is a very expected decision. Now we are waiting for the president's decision," David Arakhamia reacted to the Rada's decision.
