Due to attacks by Ukrainian drones, three Russian refineries, which account for 12% of Russia's oil refining capacity, have shut down or reduced production over the past two days. Bloomberg writes about it.

The Ryazan refinery, located about 200 kilometers southeast of Moscow, has a capacity of 17.1 million tons per year, or about 340,000 barrels per day. It is a major supplier of motor fuel to Russian regions around the capital.

The drone attack caused a fire, which was later extinguished, said Pavel Malkov, the region's governor.

Later, the Novoshakhtyn oil refinery in Russia's southern Rostov region stopped work after a drone strike, said regional governor Vasily Golubev. The plant has a capacity of 5.6 million tons per year, or about 112,000 barrels per day.

The drone also damaged a unit at the Nors oil refinery in Nizhny Novgorod and hit an oil depot in the Oryol region. 

According to Leningrad region governor Alexander Drozdenko, Ukrainian drones have also repeatedly tried to attack the Kinef oil refinery in Kirishi on the Baltic Sea coast.
