Wreckage of a downed drone fell on a residential building in Kryvyi Rih: no one was injured

During the attack of Russian kamikaze drones on Ukraine late on Sunday evening, March 17, in Kryvyi Rih, Dnipropetrovsk region, the wreckage of the destroyed UAVs fell on a five-story building. This was reported by the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration Serhiy Lysak.

"There was a fire, which was extinguished by rescuers. The roof was damaged. However, the apartments themselves are intact. No one was injured," he added details.

Explosive experts have already removed some of the debris from the enemy drone. In order not to expose the residents of the building to danger, almost three dozen people were evacuated during the works

"Now the wreckage will be destroyed. People are already at home," noted Lysak.

For his part, Oleksandr Vilkul, head of the Kryvyi Rih Defense Council, noted that the explosive part of the "Shahed" did not explode and broke through the roof in the entrance, but not in the apartments where people were staying.

"The task of the utility workers is to temporarily close the roof with tarpaulin for a few hours to prevent the rain predicted for today. Later the roof will be repaired completely," he said.

Russian troops also shelled Nikopol district three times. Artillery was fired at Marhanetska, Myrivska and Chervonohryhorivska communities. A private house was destroyed and two outbuildings, cars, garages, and greenhouses were damaged. The shelling also hit a power line and a gas pipeline. No one was killed or injured.
