Ukraine received another tranche from the IMF - Shmyhal

On March 26, Ukraine received $880 million from the International Monetary Fund. Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal announced this on Telegram.

According to him, this is the third tranche of financial support under the Extended Fund Facility (EFF) program. The head of the Cabinet of Ministers said that the funds will help ensure priority budget expenditures in the country and maintain macrofinancial stability.

"Ukraine continues to successfully fulfill its obligations to its partners. We are already preparing for the next program review. We are grateful to the IMF for its support and cooperation," Shmyhal wrote.

Thus, Ukraine has already attracted about $5.4 billion out of the $15.6 billion provided by the program.
