F-16s will arrive in Ukraine in the middle of summer, - Kuleba

According to previous agreements, F-16 fighter jets should appear in the skies of Ukraine in mid-summer. This was announced at a briefing in Warsaw by Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba.

According to the foreign minister, it was initially planned that F-16s would appear in Ukraine in the middle of this summer.

"Now everything is going according to plan. But this is a very complicated and confusing issue, so you never know how things can change," Kuleba emphasized.

The minister said that the training of pilots and engineers is going "well" and expressed gratitude to the allies for organizing this process.

Kuleba stated that even more training will be needed, not only for pilots but also for engineers and technicians, as the transition from Soviet aircraft to Western-style fighters requires changes in many aspects, including training, logistics and air combat philosophy.
