On the night of March 29, Russia launched about a hundred kamikaze drones and missiles of various types at Ukraine. Ukrainian air defense destroyed 84 enemy targets. This was reported by the commander of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Mykola Oleshchuk on Telegram.
This night, the enemy struck at the facilities of the fuel and energy sector of Ukraine, launching 99 air attack weapons:
- 60 Shahed drones (launch area of Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Kursk region);
- three X-47M2 "Kinzhal" aeroballistic missiles (from three MiG-31K fighters - Ryazan region);t
- wo "Iskander-M" ballistic missiles (Crimea);
- nine X-59 guided missiles (from nine Su-34 aircraft - Belgorod region);\
- four Iskander-K cruise missiles (Kursk region);
- 21 X-101/X-555 cruise missiles (from 11 Tu-95MS strategic bombers - Engels).
Ukraine's air defense forces shot down 84 targets, including 56 drones, 17 X-101/X-555 cruise missiles, five X-59 guided missiles, and four Iskander-K cruise missiles.
Anti-aircraft units of the Air Force and Ground Forces, mobile fire groups, and electronic warfare systems were involved in repelling the attack.
