Ukraine sets UAH 70 thousand extra payment for military and police officers "at zero"

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has established an additional payment of UAH 70 thousand for military and police officers who perform combat missions on the front line. This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.


This resolution was adopted by the Cabinet of Ministers, fulfilling yesterday's appeal of the Verkhovna Rada.


"We continue to support our defense forces. In accordance with a joint initiative of the Verkhovna Rada and the government, today we have established an additional payment of UAH 70 thousand for servicemen and police officers who perform combat missions on the first line," Shmyhal wrote on his Telegram channel.

 

According to him, a one-time reward will be charged for every 30 days of performing such tasks.


Thus, in total, the military will be able to receive up to UAH 200,000 - UAH 20-25,000 in salary, UAH 100,000 in "combat" allowances and UAH 70,000 in payments for for service "at zero".
