The Netherlands has additionally allocated one billion euros for military aid to Ukraine. Another 400 million euros were also allocated for the reconstruction of Ukraine. This was announced by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky on Telegram.

 

 

"In a telephone conversation with Prime Minister Mark Rutte announced that the Netherlands has allocated another billion euros for military aid to Ukraine and 400 million euros for reconstruction. This is in addition to the commitments under our bilateral security agreement. Thank you, Mark, thank you, Dutch people! This is an exemplary example of support for Ukraine," Zelensky wrote.

 

Zelensky and Rutte also discussed joint work with partners to accelerate the supply of artillery shells, ammunition and air defense systems.

 

The President thanked Rutte for the effective Justice for Ukraine conference in The Hague and the launch of the Register of Damages as a result of it.

 

They also discussed preparations for the Peace Summit in Switzerland. Zelensky invited the Netherlands to join.
