Attack on the Russian military airfield in Dzhankoy: GUR provided first details (UPDATED)

On April 17, a strike at the military airfield in Dzhankoy hit the launchers of missile and air defense systems, radar systems and aircraft of the Russian army. This was stated by the representative of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine Andriy Yusov during a telethon. 


"There is already more detailed information on the damage. It will be officially released today. For example, there are launchers of missile and air defense systems, destroyed radar systems, and information about the damage to aircraft and personnel," he said.


Yusov emphasized that all the information will be made public in more detail later.


"This is a really important large-scale successful operation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine," the GUR spokesman said.

The GUR disclosed data on Russian losses as a result of yesterday's strike on the Dzhankoy airfield.

 

According to Ukrainian intelligence, on the morning of April 17, the following were hit: 4 S-400 anti-aircraft missile launchers; 3 radar stations; an air defense control center; and airspace surveillance equipment "Fundament-M".

 

The data on personnel is still being clarified.
