Anton Hofreiter, a representative of the European Committee in the Bundestag, fears that the aid to Ukraine approved by the US House of Representatives may be the last American aid before a long pause, n-tv reports.

"This may be the last US aid package in a very long time - or even the last one at all," Hofreiter said.

According to him, American support for Ukraine has become uncertain due to the long deadlock over the approval of the aid package.

"We Europeans have to do much more for Ukraine," the politician said.
