Due to the martial law in Ukraine, the state has revised its declaration of temporary derogation from certain obligations under the European Convention on Human Rights and the Covenant on Civil and Political Rights.

According to the document published on the Council of Europe's website, the military leadership has the right to restrict a number of freedoms and rights of citizens, including freedom of movement, conducting searches, and forcibly confiscating property.

These measures can be applied during martial law in accordance with the constitutional norms of Ukraine.
