Russian troops attacked power facility in Donetsk region: equipment is damaged

Russians attacked a power facility in the east of Ukraine. Equipment was damaged and an overhead line was cut off, the Ministry of Energy reports.

“In Donetsk region, yesterday afternoon, due to the blackout of one of the overhead lines, the regional power company cut off the substation and the household consumers connected to it,” the statement said.

According to the ministry, on Sunday, April 28, blackout schedules were applied in Kharkiv region and for industry in Kryvyi Rih. Restrictions in these regions will remain in effect on Monday. In other regions, consumers were not restricted yesterday.

According to Ukrenergo, the overall situation in the power system has improved. Consumption decreases due to warming.

The deficit remains only in certain hours, not all the time, as it was last week.
