Another attack on energy facility was carried out in Sumy region yesterday - Ministry of Energy

Yesterday, another attack on a power facility was carried out in Sumy region. This was reported by the Ministry of Energy.

After almost all consumers were supplied with power after the first strike on a high-voltage substation, another substation was shelled.

The overhead line and six other substations were disconnected, household consumers were again cut off.

“Currently, 5.4 thousand subscribers in Sumy region are without power, mostly those who were disconnected for a long time due to previous shelling,” the statement said.

According to the agency, 54 settlements in Ukraine remain without power due to the bad weather, including 42 in Chernihiv region.

Due to network restrictions imposed after the March Russian attacks, blackout schedules continue to be applied in Kharkiv region and for industry in Kryvyi Rih. In other regions, there are no restrictions.
