“At approximately 5 am, the enemy attempted to break through our defense line under the cover of armored vehicles. As of now, these attacks have been repelled, and fighting of varying intensity continues,” the statement said.
The Ministry of Defense says that before the offensive, air strikes with the use of aerial bombs were carried out during the day.
“Since the beginning of the night, the Russian occupiers have increased fire pressure on the front line of our defense with the support of artillery,” the ministry said.
It is noted that reserve units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have been sent to this section of the front.
In turn, Deep State analysts write that the Russian Armed Forces are trying to enter and gain a foothold in the border villages of Strilecha, Krasne, Pylna, Borysivka, Hatyshche, and Pletenivka in Kharkiv region.
“The enemy made attempts to saturate the villages with personnel in advance, in particular, in Pylna. You can claim that all attacks have been repelled, distort information, but the responsible persons who should have responded to this from the first call are now thinking about what to do about it,” Deep State says.
In general, they believe that Russia will not have enough forces for a deep advance, “but it is not known how many main forces it is ready to use for this maneuver.”
In addition, Deep State writes that Russian armored vehicles broke through the village of Pylna near Kharkiv, but were destroyed.
“Preliminarily, 3 units of equipment were burned north of the settlements of Morokhovets-Oliynykove,” the report says.
It is not specified whether all the vehicles that broke through were destroyed.
