The Ministry of Defense of Spain is finalizing the preparation of a new military aid package for Ukraine, which will include repaired tanks and artillery shells. This was reported by El Pais, citing unnamed sources in the government.

They said that the aid package for the Armed Forces of Ukraine could be prepared by June 30. It will include large-caliber artillery shells, light and heavy machine guns, wheeled logistics vehicles, armored infantry vehicles and anti-tank weapons.

In addition, according to the publication, Spain will hand over to Ukraine the first 10 battle tanks from a batch of 19 Leopard 2 A4s that are being repaired in the country. It is also planned that as part of the package, Spanish companies will supply the Armed Forces with air surveillance systems and remote weapons stations to protect against drones.
