Power outages are likely to continue after the warming. This was stated by Volodymyr Kudrytskyi, Chairman of the Board of Ukrenergo.

He explained that the warming will improve the situation with electricity consumption in the country, but will not restore the damaged capacities of power plants.

According to him, problems should be expected in the summer.

“In the summer, taking into account planned repairs at generation facilities and the use of air conditioners by the population, the deficit in the power system may again become critical,” Kudrytskyi said.

He also once again called on all consumers to consume electricity carefully. Do not turn on powerful electrical appliances at the same time in the morning and evening, reduce the use of heaters and air conditioners, and refuse to use washing machines and boilers during peak consumption hours.
