Ukraine has received permission to use Finnish weapons against Russia: statement of the Finnish Foreign Ministry

Finnish Foreign Minister Elina Valtonen has said that Ukraine can use the weapons transferred to it to strike at military targets in Russia if it is necessary for self-defense. This is reported by the Uusi Suomi.


Valtonen also emphasized that Finland does not limit material assistance to Ukraine and believes that it should be used in accordance with international law.


According to the minister, Ukraine has the right to self-defense under Article 51 of the UN Charter, including strikes on military targets on the aggressor's territory.
