About 14.7 million people in Ukraine have received a full course of vaccinations against the coronavirus disease COVID-19 since the end of February. At the same time, a total of 28.7 million were vaccinated, of which about 104,000 were vaccinated in the last 24 hours, which is more than the day before. This is reported by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

"During the day on January 05 in Ukraine 104,844 people were vaccinated against COVID-19. The first dose was given to 29,997 people, the second dose to 70,164 people, an additional dose was given to 643 people, a booster dose to 4,040 people," the report says.

It should be noted that since the beginning of the vaccination campaign 14 778 321 people have been vaccinated, of whom 14 319 78 people have received the first dose; 13 905 862 people have received two doses; 5 399 people have received an additional dose and 11 596 people have received a booster dose. A total of 28,701,176 vaccinations were administered.

We remind that the 5th stage of vaccination campaign against COVID-19 continues in the country. All Ukrainians over 18 years old may get vaccinated.

On December 13 Ukraine introduced an additional dose of vaccine for people with severe related diseases. Vaccination with it began on December 16.

On December 22, the Health Ministry said that Ukraine was introducing a booster dose of the vaccine against COVID-19 for health care workers and employees of orphanages. Vaccination began on 24 December.
