Ukraine will reduce the validity of COVID certificates to nine months

Ukraine, following the EU countries, will shorten the validity of certificates of vaccination against coronavirus. This was announced by the Deputy Minister of Health for Digital Development Maria Karchevych in the air of the program on 1+1.

We are talking about the "green" COVID certificate, which indicates receipt of two doses of vaccine. According to the new rules adopted back in December, this document will be valid for 270 days - nine months instead of a year in the 27 countries of the EU. The innovation will be valid in the EU from February 1.

Karchevych said that Parliament will prepare a similar decision, so that the COVID-certificate of Ukrainians will also be valid only 270 days instead of 365 days, as previously supposed. According to forecasts, the issue of shortening the validity of certificates will be resolved as early as this week.
