Poland will soon submit a note to the German government regarding reparations

The Polish government intends to approach the German government regarding military reparations in the near future.

This was stated by the Prime Minister of Poland, Mateusz Morawiecki, RMF24 reports.

At a briefing on Monday, the head of the Polish government was asked whether it is possible to wait for a diplomatic note to the German government in the near future.

"Yes, we can expect a diplomatic note in the near future. A diplomatic note that will be supported by a very detailed analysis and materials that not only demonstrate our arguments from the moral and historical side, but also from the political and legal side," the Prime Minister said.

On September 1, Poland presented a report on reparations for military losses suffered by the country as a result of German aggression in World War II.

Poland estimates its losses at 6.2 trillion zlotys ($1.32 trillion) and intends to demand this amount from Germany in the future.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Germany announced that the issue of reparations for losses in the Second World War has been resolved.
