The European Commission is discussing with the EU countries the issue of granting humanitarian visas to citizens of Russia after the announcement of mobilization.

 "The situation is unprecedented, taking into account the security situation, we have to take into account the geopolitical situation as well... We are in contact with the EU states to assess the situation in order to provide support and prepare for the next stage," she said.

 However, Hiper noted that all requests for humanitarian visas must be considered on an individual basis.
