Spain continues to supply military aid to Ukraine: armored personnel carriers and missiles

Spain will provide the Armed Forces of Ukraine with armored personnel carriers, anti-aircraft missiles and other military equipment. This was reported by the Spanish Ministry of Defense.

Acting Spanish Defense Minister Margarita Robles reported at the Ramstein meeting on the current supply of military aid to Ukraine.

In particular, the delivery of new armored personnel carriers, inflatable command boats and various materials, including launchers and missiles for anti-aircraft and anti-ship defense, as well as specialized trucks and ambulances, was announced.

Pallets of surgical and medical equipment will be sent to support the work of the Role 2+ mobile hospital, which Spain handed over to Ukraine in August.

Robles also noted the good progress in the training of Ukrainian soldiers on Spanish territory as part of the EUMAM mission in Ukraine under the coordination of the Training Coordination Center in Toledo.

About 4,000 Ukrainian military personnel are expected to be trained, which is twice the number originally expected.

In response to Ukraine's evolving needs, a wind tunnel military parachuting course and a variety of specialized courses for Ukrainian military security forces will also be offered.
