"I will receive information from Ukrainian authorities" - Zelensky on the fate of the commander of the Russian Black Sea Fleet

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has promised to find out from the relevant Ukrainian authorities about the fate of Russian Black Sea Fleet Commander Viktor Sokolov. The country's leader made the announcement during a joint briefing with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.

Answering a question about the current status of Russian Admiral Sokolov, the President noted that Ukraine is taking all legal measures to regain control over its entire territory. At the same time, Russian terrorist attacks on Ukrainian energy, infrastructure and citizens are perceived as a threat to the country's national security.

"Accordingly, we are analyzing what we can do and taking sensitive steps in response on the territory of Ukraine. I will definitely ask the relevant authorities about your question," Volodymyr Zelensky added.
