The US Senate has passed a bill on a temporary budget. This will allow the government to continue its work and avoid a shutdown. This is reported by Reuters.


It is noted that 77 senators voted for this document, while 13 opposed. Now the budget agreement is awaiting signature from US President Joe Biden.


It is noted that some authorities were supposed to stop funding on March 1, and others on March 8. However, the bill provides for the extension of funding until March 8 and 22, respectively.


Biden expressed satisfaction with the decision of the Senate and the House of Representatives, considering it positive for Americans. However, he emphasized that this is only a temporary solution, not a permanent one.
