Canada will supply Ukraine with 10 ACSV 8x8 armored personnel carriers at the beginning of summer

Ukraine will receive the first 10 of 50 ACSV 8x8 armored personnel carriers from Canada at the beginning of summer. This was announced by Canadian Defense Minister Bill Blair.

Funds for the APCs were allocated in September 2023.

According to Blair, in early summer, the armored personnel carriers will be sent to Germany, where the Ukrainian military will get acquainted with them. After that, the soldiers will undergo training on the APCs.

“In the summer, Ukrainians will be trained on these vehicles, and in the autumn they will arrive in Ukraine. These vehicles are built by Canadian workers at the General Dynamics Land Systems plant,” said the Canadian Defense Minister.

The last batch of these armored personnel carriers is to be delivered to Ukraine in 2027.
