The Supreme Justice Council (SJC) has dismissed the head of the Supreme Court, Valentina Danishevskaya, from the position of judge. She had previously filed a statement to that effect. This is reported on the website of the Supreme Court of Justice.

"The Supreme Court decided to dismiss Valentina Danishevskaya from the post of judge of the Court of Cassation of the economic court within the Supreme Court in connection with the application for resignation," - said in the message.

It is worth noting that the term of office of Danishevskaya as chairman of the Supreme Court also expires on November 30. Vsevolod Knyazev will take over this post on December 1.
