U.S. military personnel who refuse to vaccinate against the coronavirus will be immediately terminated. The Pentagon's order covers members of the regular army, reservists and cadets. This is reported by Reuters.

As the publication notes, the order to dismiss the unvaccinated military is the last of the relevant orders. They were issued after the Pentagon announced mandatory vaccination for all military personnel last August.

Most U.S. military personnel are now vaccinated against the coronavirus with at least one dose. According to official figures, about 79 U.S. military personnel have died after being infected with the new Omicron strain.
