The government has solved the problem of Lufthansa flight stoppages in Ukraine

The Ministry of Infrastructure, following talks with Ukrainian carriers, announced that Lufthansa flights, which were cancelled, have been taken over by UIA.

We shall remind you that after the announcement of the German airline Lufthansa to suspend all flights to Kiev and Odesa from February 21 to 28, the Ministry of Infrastructure started negotiations with Ukrainian carriers on the launch of additional flights on routes on which Lufthansa group imposed restrictions.

This was reported by the Ministry of Infrastructure on its Facebook page: "Passengers of cancelled flights are requested to contact the Lufthansa service center. Flights from and to Lviv remain in the normal mode".

To ensure uninterrupted air service, the Ministry of Infrastructures was working on the following solutions. Thus, it was proposed, that Lufthansa would transfer the possibility of transportation of passengers on its routes first of all to Star Alliance member-companies and other partners. Also, the Ministry of Infrastructure negotiated with the Ukrainian carriers on the possibility of the earliest launch of additional flights on the routes that Lufthansa Group will not be able to operate.

"Let me remind you, the skies of Ukraine remain open," said Infrastructure Minister Alexander Kubrakov.
