Johnson spoke about the forthcoming military aid to Ukraine of 100 million pounds from Scotland and Wales

Scotland and Wales have decided to provide military assistance to Ukraine worth a total of 100 million pounds sterling.

 

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson wrote this on Twitter.

 

"The Welsh government has allocated 35 million for military support to Ukraine, and Welsh families have accepted 3,000 refugees," the message read.

 

He added that Scotland has also allocated 65 million pounds, also announcing its willingness to accept refugees from Ukraine.

 

"I just spoke with Scotland's First Minister Nicola Sturgeon to proclaim the success of Britain's cooperation in supporting Ukraine. I thanked the Scottish government for contributing 65 million pounds to increase British military aid to Ukraine to 2.3 billion pounds and efforts to provide housing for 6,000 Ukrainian refugees," Johnson wrote.
