Melnyk spoke about Germany's refusal to supply Marder and Leopard

Germany's ruling coalition may allow the delivery of Marder armored personnel carriers and Leopard tanks to Ukraine in the coming weeks. This was stated by the Ambassador of Ukraine to Germany Andriy Melnyk in an interview with Bild.

According to Melnyk, the decision to allow deliveries is only a matter of time and will change in the coming weeks.

"I am convinced that the ruling coalition, which refuses to supply Marder armored personnel carriers and Leopard tanks, will change its decision. It is only a matter of time, and the score is coming in weeks," Melnyk said.

The ambassador also hopes that the Armed Forces of Ukraine will be able to outwit the occupiers again in order to continue liberating the territories of Ukraine. Melnyk called on countries to continue to support our soldiers.

"I hope that the Ukrainian army will be able to outsmart the Russians in the coming weeks, just as they have done in the last few days. ...I think we have a good chance. We have seen that our army, which has always been considered weak, is quite capable of achieving such success even with a small amount of Western weapons. We should continue to be supported," the ambassador added.
