Gazprom threatens to cut gas supplies to Europe via Ukraine

Russian monopolist Gazprom threatens to cut gas flows to Europe via Ukraine next week. This is stated in the message of the company in Telegram.

Gazprom said that some volumes of gas destined for Moldova remain in Ukraine and warned that it will limit the volume of transit from November 28 according to the amount of gas that does not reach Moldovan consumers.

"On November 21, Moldovagaz, in accordance with the contract, paid Gazprom part of the supplies for November. The volume of Russian gas actually supplied, for which the payment of current supplies in November was violated, is 24.945 million cubic meters of gas. The total accumulated volume of subsidence in the territory of Ukraine is 52 52 million cubic meters of gas," the statement said.

The Ukrainian route is the last remaining pipeline that still supplies Russian gas to Western Europe.
