Le Figaro: Ukraine is in the spotlight in the Nord Stream sabotage case

The French publication Le Figaro has revealed additional details in the investigation of the Nord Stream explosion, in which Ukraine has been in the spotlight as the main suspect.


According to Le Figaro, the rental of the Andromeda yacht, which was allegedly used to prepare the explosion, was organized by the Warsaw-based travel agency Feeria Lwowa. This agency is headed by 54-year-old Natalia A., who lives in Kyiv.


In addition, according to the publication, one of the crew members was identified as a Ukrainian. A man named Valeriy K. rented the yacht by providing a fake Moldovan identity card.


Valeriy K. is reportedly a career military officer associated with the 93rd Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
