Rada is preparing to adopt a law on mobilization: estimated time of adoption

The Rada may pass a new draft law on mobilization in the second reading by the end of March. More than 4,000 amendments have been made to the document. This was stated by a member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence, People's Deputy Fedir Venislavsky.

As for the deadlines, he said that the secretariat should prepare a comparative table of the draft law by next Monday, March 4. And then, starting from March 5-6, the Rada can begin an article-by-article discussion and take into account or reject these legislative amendments with the participation of the MPs who submitted them.

"Optimistically, the committee will be able to finish with the amendments by March 10-15. Pessimistically, by March 20, we will be able to consider them, form the committee's conclusion, vote and send the draft law to the Rada for a second reading. That is, under both the optimistic and pessimistic scenarios, we have every chance of voting on the bill in the second reading by the end of March," Venislavsky said.
