Russian troops attacked Odesa and Odesa region with kamikaze drones. On the night of March 8, an infrastructure facility was hit. This was reported by the Southern Defense Forces of Ukraine on Telegram.

According to the Southern Defense Forces, 30 Shaheds were shot down in their area of responsibility. They destroyed 18 drones in Odesa region, eight in Kirovohrad, two in Mykolaiv and two in Kherson.

The air defense units repelled the attacks for three hours, as the Shaheds came from different directions and were difficult to maneuver.

The attack in Odesa region damaged an infrastructure facility, the buildings of which were preserved for a long time. A fire broke out in the open and was quickly extinguished.

It is known that no one was injured in the attack.
