On the night of April 16, Russian troops attacked six regions of Ukraine with attack drones. The Air Force said that all the drones were shot down this time.

According to the military, Russia launched nine Shahed-type kamikaze drones from the territory of occupied Crimea.

All Shaheds were destroyed by mobile fire groups in the Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, Cherkasy, Poltava, Khmelnytskyi, and Mykolaiv regions.
